Looking for something other than a traditional Whale Watch or Islands and Fireworks trip?  Here are some special cruises held aboard the Granite State throughout the year.

Tri-State Pelagic Birdwatching Expedition- Tuesday Sept. 7, 2010 (Memorial Day) 8:00AM

This trip will take us to the offshore waters of Jeffreys Ledge off the coast of MA, NH, and ME is search of pelagic bird species.  This trip is led by local bird experts who will identify and provide commentary about the species we encounter.  This is an all day trip so prepare accordingly!  Departs Rye Harbor at 8:00 am and returns around 5:00 pm.  For information and reservations contact the Massabesic Audubon Center at 603-668-2045 or mac@audobon.org. 

Sunset Lighthouse Cruise - Friday June 18, 2010 7:00 PM

This cruise is a benefit for the Friends of Portsmouth Harbor Light.  We will travel to three seacoast lighthouses on this cruise.  Included are White Island Light at the Isles of Shoals, and Whaleback  Light and Portsmouth Harbor Light at the mouth of the Piscataqua River.  A fun trip with expert narration and lots of raffle prizes!  Departs from Rye Harbor and returns around 9:30.  Tickets are $20.  Call 1-800-964-5545 for reservations.

Five Lighthouse Cruise- Saturday September 25, 2010 8:30 AM

Another benefit cruise for the Friends of Portsmouth Harbor Light, this is the mother of all seacoast lighthouse cruises!  We will travel to White Island Light, Boon Island Light, Cape Neddick "Nubble" Light, Whaleback Light, and Portsmouth Harbor Light.  We also get great views of the Isles of Shoals, coastal southern Maine and Portsmouth and the Piscataqua river.  Tickets are $35 for adults and $25 for children under 12.  Call 1-800-964-5545 for reservations.
